The city of Daytona Beach is bringing back this annual community tradition, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Presented by Brown & Brown Insurance and sponsored in part by the Daytona International Auto Mall, the Bright Lights & Merry Nights Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, starting at Bethune Point Park, 11 Bellevue Ave. From the park, the parade will travel north on Beach Street and end at Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. (PDF MAP). The parade route is about 1.4 miles.
Several bridge and road closures will be implemented for the popular parade. Motorists should plan accordingly if planning to use the Veterans Memorial or International Speedway Boulevard bridges Saturday evening, which will close for the parade.
Daytona Beach residents will be able to enjoy festive floats, performances by local bands and more. Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories.
