[ARCHIVED] Public invited to virtual meetings to learn about coastal resiliency studies

The public is invited to attend virtual meetings to learn about two utility-related studies, which will help protect the city from projected sea-level rise and flooding events.

6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20

Anticipating effects of sea-level rise and flooding events
The first study includes conducting a vulnerability assessment and creating an adaptation plan to address sea-level rise associated with global climate and environmental change.

Assessing impact of sea-level rise to critical infrastructure
The second study will assess the impact of potential sea-level rise to the Bethune Point Wastewater Treatment Plant.
