Thanks to great weather and good tides, maintenance to replace the cross bracing and piles on the east end of the Daytona Beach Pier has been completed. The fishing section will reopen for public use as of 7 a.m. Saturday, May 8. The pier is located at 1200 Main Street and open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
