The City of Daytona Beach is currently recruiting three members for its Board of Adjustment (BOA). Prospective board members must be Daytona Beach residents, living anywhere within the city limits and specifically in Zone 2 and Zone 6. Duties of the BOA include reviewing and deciding on requests for property use variances, adopting rules consistent with the provisions of the LDC and reviewing administrative appeals on decisions made by the Chief Building Official.
The advisory board meets on an as-needed basis and typically convenes on the third Thursday of each month, at 1 p.m., in Daytona Beach’s City Hall, 301 S. Ridgewood Ave.
