The Florida Department of Transportation is hosting a community meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at the Schnebly Recreation Center, 1101 N. Atlantic Ave, for the public to learn about improvements planned on Atlantic Avenue from Seabreeze Boulevard to Milsap Road. The purpose of this project is to evaluate proposed transportation solutions, considering capacity, safety and multi-modal enhancements along the corridor, while minimizing potential impacts to the natural and human environments. To accommodate the public, FDOT is offering multiple ways for people to learn about the project and provide feedback:
- In-Person Open House Option: People may attend the meeting at the Schenbly Recreation Center.
- Virtual Option: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) from a computer, tablet or mobile device. For this option, advance registration is required.
- Phone Option (Listen Only): Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing (866) 901-6455 and entering the passcode 180-815-852 when prompted.
All meeting materials, including the presentation, will be available on the project website prior to the meeting.
