The City of Daytona Beach is hosting the 2019 Light Up Midtown Senior Prom at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Midtown Cultural and Educational Center located at 925 George W. Engram Blvd. During the night to remember, senior citizens will enjoy listening to songs from their youth, dancing, socializing and a coronation of this year’s prom king and queen.

Command staff and officers from the Daytona Beach Police Department, members of local fraternities and sororities and local Easter Stars members will attend to assist with setting up for the event, bringing food to those who need assistance and enjoying the evening with the prom goers.

The Light Up Midtown Senior Prom is an annual celebration with holiday-themed activities. The public is invited to attend and support this event dedicated to Daytona Beach’s senior citizen community. For more information, call (386) 671-8014.
