[ARCHIVED] Stay cool at a city pool

The city’s two pools have new hours for the fall.

Campbell Aquatic Center, 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

  • No cost to swim.
  • Open swim:
    • 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
    • 1 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday
    • Closed Sunday

Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George W. Engram Blvd.

  • $3 for adults, $2 for children 17 years of age and younger
  • Open swim:
    • 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
    • 1 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday
    • Closed Sunday
  • Lap swimming:
    • 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
    • 1 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday

Visitors will have their temperature checked before being allowed into each facility and should adhere to social distancing guidelines, including being six feet apart. People who are sick, coughing or do not feel well should not enter. Groups are restricted to 10 or less people.

Cypress Aquatic Center is limited to 50 people occupancy and Campbell Aquatic Center is limited to 25 people occupancy. Bathrooms are open at both facilities but loitering is not allowed.
