[ARCHIVED] Hours extended at Cypress Aquatic Center

Cypress Aquatic Center at 981 George Engram Blvd. has extended its fall hours and is open from noon to 8 p.m. for open swim and noon to 2:15 p.m. for lap swimming Monday through Saturday. The pool is closed on Sunday. For the safety of visitors, Campbell Aquatic Center at 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. has been temporarily closed while construction is underway for a new entry pavilion and shaded seating areas. The pool will reopen when the improvements are complete, which is scheduled for January.

Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George W. Engram Blvd.

  • $3 for adults, $2 for children 17 years of age and younger
  • Open swim:
    • Noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday
    • Closed Sunday
  • Lap swimming:
    • Noon to 2:15 p.m. Monday through Saturday

Visitors will have their temperature checked before being allowed into each facility and should adhere to social distancing guidelines, including being six feet apart. People who are sick, coughing or do not feel well should not enter. Groups are restricted to 10 or less people.

Cypress Aquatic Center is limited to 50 people occupancy. Bathrooms are open but loitering is not allowed.
