Residents can file non-emergency
police reports online

Save time by filing a police report for a non-emergency incident by using the Daytona Beach Police Department’s online reporting system powered by CRIMEWATCH. The online form allows users to enter contact information, incident details, location and provide relevant attachments.


To use the online system the incident must have happened within Daytona Beach's city limits. Examples of non-emergency incidents include:

  • Abandoned cars
  • Animal complaints
  • Harassing phone calls
  • Hit and run
  • Identity theft
  • Lost property
  • Non-injury traffic accident
  • Theft
  • Vandalism

Pennsylvania-based company CRIMEWATCH is a technology platform that represents more than 190 law enforcement agencies and has received more than 35,000 crime-related tips.

Mayor's Equity Initiative hosts virtual meetings

The Mayor’s Equity Initiative will have virtual focus group meetings in February to brainstorm promoting equity for COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

The focus group meetings are on the following dates:

  • Business/Media: 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1
  • Health/Social Services: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2
  • Neighborhood/Clergy: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4
  • Education: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4
  • Criminal Justice: 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9

Next City Commission meeting
is Wednesday, Feb. 3

The next meeting for the City Commission will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at City Hall. The meeting agenda is posted online.

Residents can sign up to receive agendas via email or text message by clicking on “Notify Me” on the city’s website, www.codb.us. Special procedures to allow remote and in-person public participation at meetings continue to be in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. To review the procedures, visit www.codb.us.

The meeting will be on DBTV, which can be accessed from www.codb.us/DBTV, and Spectrum Channel 490.
