Public input meeting and survey about sports facility

The City of Daytona Beach is interested in expanding recreational options for citizens while increasing its ability to host sports tourism events. We'd like to hear your thoughts about what activities and events you'd like to see on the city's 600+ acres of land located west of I-95, between US-92 and I-4.

By actively involving residents, local organizations and other stakeholders, the city aims to capture diverse perspectives and ensure any future developments truly reflect the community's needs and aspirations.

There is a public input meeting Tuesday, May 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Cherry Cultural & Educational Center, 925 George W. Engram Blvd. Can't make it? You can still share your thoughts by completing this survey.

A new resource is available for citizens to alert staff to non-emergency issues such as clogged storm drains, overgrown lots, litter, potholes, damaged street signs and other concerns. The convenient app is linked to the city’s existing mobile app, DBCityConnect, and is also available on this webpage.

Photos can be uploaded with each service request as a visual reference to help communicate the issue. Submitted requests are automatically routed to appropriate city staff, who will help answer questions and provide solutions. Individuals can check the status of their request online, and an email will be sent once the work is complete or the issue has been resolved. For more information, click here.
